Which Are The Best Halloween Costumes For Men

Halloween is the perfect time to break away from the dull and drab and allow you the opportunity to be something out of the ordinary. We all have an attraction to Hollywood and the movies. There are so many classic characters from our favorite films, which make great, Halloween costumes for men.
We can all admit that part of the appeal of Halloween is the thought of being scared. Horror movies and their subject matter will always make classic Halloween Outfits.

One of the easiest Halloween costumes for men comes from the movie, Halloween. Michael Meyers is the traditional, never say die, horror movie character, who laid the ground work for so many evil creatures after him. Halloween outfits of Michael, require a one piece jumpsuit that can be found at most auto parts stores and the classic mask, supposedly crafted in the likeness of famous, Star Trek actor, William Shatner.

Did you know that nearly one in seven people suffer from some form of Coulrophobia, the fear of clowns? Hollywood has preyed upon these fears time and time again. As far as Halloween costumes for men, the clown is fantastic because you can fashion it after a classic, horror movie clown like Penny Wise from Stephen Kings, "It" or Captain Spaulding, from the intensely creepy, Rob Zombie film, House of 1000 Corpses. There is also the option to have it be a bit more whimsical like the classic Batman villain, The Joker. There is also a dream sequence from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, which shows some evil grinning clowns dismantling Pee-Wee's bicycle. All of these Halloween outfits offer inspiration for a lot of creativity and artistic license. Grab some simple make up and create your own evil, clown, alter ego.

Prior to our present day, serial killing, horror movie characters were the classic old time horror movie creatures like Dracula, Frankenstein and The Creature from the Black Lagoon. These are the characters who gave baby boomers nightmares when they were kids and they all make great Halloween costumes for men. Again, with some makeup and creativity you can craft classic, movie monster, Halloween outfits very easily. Grow a beard in advance; get some scary teeth, slick back your hair and apply some make up and you will be instantly transformed into the Wolf Man. Add some old clothing that you cut or rip to look tattered and the look will be complete. This is also great if you need to dress as a couple, as your female companion can be your side kick, Little Red Riding Hood.

Great inspiration from Hollywood and your own creativity will allow for awesome ideas for Halloween. This combined with good friends and fun is the recipe for an exciting evening or event. Happy Halloween to all, and to all a frightening night.
